MySpace still No.1

MySpace is still the biggest social network in the U.S. for this year at least. MySpace is owned and operated by News Corp. But the news is not all that good. Because it is also observed that the overall traffic has only grown by 1 % since September 2007. As of this writing, the entire hits is just under 60 million visitors. While its biggest rival, the Facebook has grown by 116 % in the same time frame.

The fastest growing social sites, meanwhile is dominated by Twitter which sees a 343% growth since September 2007. Next is Tagged, followed by Ning, LinkedIn, Last.fm, Facebook, My Yearbook and Bebo respectively.
